Allan Tomlinson – Managing Director

With over 30 years’ experience in the embedded world and over 4o years in distribution of technology, Allan came from an engineering background with NCR, moving into components distribution in the era when transistors, 8 bit micro’s and EPROM were in their infancy. Some 30 years ago he saw that eventually standard components would move to board-made components in the form of Embedded technologies first introduced in the 4U chassis with ISA based back planes and plug in cards.  Allan moved to Priority Electronics (now known as Advantech Australia) and was their National Sales Manager for 10 years before forming Kontron Australia in 2003 together with Kontron AG. Allan has been dedicated to the successful sales and distribution of Kontron products throughout the APAC region for over 20 years.

Joel Khodaverdian – Sales Manager

With nearly 20 years’ experience working within the Industrial Computer Industry, Joel is now a specialist in Kontron’s product range and embedded hardware & software technology. Having worked with many Embedded Computer Manufacturers, Joel joined Kontron Australia as a Key Account Manager over 10 years ago. Since then, he has pro-actively worked with our customers and their technical specialists to implement specific, and unique, applications within Australia and New Zealand. Joel manages the sales process for most of the top-tier customers that Kontron Australia has within its portfolio

Carol Koenig – Quality & Operations Manager

With over 25 years’ working in the IT industry spanning 3 countries, Carol has a wealth of experience running IT operations that encompass Customer Sales, Service & Support, Training and Quality Management. Carol is passionate about managing and supporting our customer and supplier base to meet production deadlines, achieve quality expectations and standards, while delivering excellent customer service.
